Underwater Art Competition
‘Marine Visions IV’ – Underwater Photo Art Competition
Winners are now up on the bottom of the 2010 winners gallery – Congratulations and thanks for all the entries!
The Underwater Festival hosted the fourth inaugural ‘Marine Visions’ Art Competition.
Not to be confused with the ‘Underwater Photo and Video Shootout Competition’, this was a fantastic opportunity also for those who cannot make it to Christmas Island to display their work in the lead up to and over the course of the festival and be in the running to win over $2000 of great prizes sponsored by Frog Dive Gear and MadFish Wines.
Due to the remoteness of the location for UF10, Marine Visions IV was a photography only art competition and entries could be submitted in digital form only.
Our team of professional judges included world famous underwater photographer and author of several books Mathieu Meur as well as festival organiser Tim Hochgrebe and Frog Dive Gear distributor Lynton Burger.
We announced the winners on Friday the 30st of April at the Underwater Festival Finale on Christmas Island. You didn’t have to be present to receive your prize. MadFish wine prizes can only be awarded to participants residing in Australia from the age of 18.
